Baking its way to World #1

The Parle-G Saga!

In an era where biscuits were for the elite, Mr. Dayal carved a new path. Parle Gluco was launched in 1939, which broke social and economic barriers. As India gained independence, Parle Gluco rallied local support during the swadeshi movement.

The 1960s brought challenges as competition grew and confusion loomed with similar glucose biscuits. Parle Gulco responded by reinventing themselves.

The biscuit embraced a fresh image with a cheery girl on a yellow wrapper, rebranding as Parle-G. The “G” used to stand for glucose, later it stood for “Genius”. This smart move made Parle-G stand out in the market.

This journey blends foresight, affordability, innovation, and emotions. Parle-G proves even simple ideas, nurtured with wisdom and dedication, can become extraordinary.
